Dear Medium, please change the placement of the draft button.
I love medium!
It’s a very good app with a lot of great resources and articles. Not only a great article, but I also got to meet a lot of great people and writers from this platform.
But, why has Medium always tried to push writers away from the apps? About last year, medium decided to remove the write article feature on the app and I’m still mad about it, and I believe I’m not the only one. But thank god, they now decided to add back the feature again, but the experience is still not ideal. Especially when it comes to finding the draft button.
Often time I found myself struggling to find the draft for my article. Here how access it:
It took 3 steps to get to the draft page. Moreover, the placement of the button is so hidden! For a writer, the draft is a crucial part of the writing process. Because often we like to just write a note in our draft when some ideas pop up.
So here is the suggestion I made for Medium.
It cut unnecessary steps and makes the button easier to access.
